Download official wordpress installation files from wordpress.org and paste extracted files to C:\xampp\htdocs folder.
Then go to your web browser and type local host

you will see xampp control panel

go to phpmyadmin and create a new database (Watch this video)

Then visit localhost\"your wordpress folder name" in web browser and setup database details

or rename wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php and enter database name and user name (default user name is root no password)

Now again visit localhost\yourfolder name

You will see wordpress installation dialog

After entering sitename and username password your wordpress website is ready to post new items [endtext]
